Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. I bought this wood platform bed for my 3 year old grandson (to go with the mattress I also bought from Wayfair). It took me 2 hours to put the bed frame together by myself and I'm a hands on type of gal. The box in came in was severely damaged but only minimal scratches were on the frame. There are different shades of stain on the frame. All of the mattress support slats needed to be sanded, which I discovered after getting a splinter, several of them had cracks in them and one is warped. There are no drill holes in the frame and no instructions on how far apart to place the slats but because the slats have drill holes the screws easily go into the frame using a power drill. I ended up attaching the first slat at the edge where the slats rest and starting from each end attached the slats 5 1/2" apart. The center two slats are about 5" apart. The final issue is that the sticker is not a peal off so I need to find something to get it off the head board. Other than that it is a sturdy bed frame and my grandson loves it.. Michelle. Nevada.
