This airy take on an etagere bookcase is defined by the asymmetric back supports that lend a structural silhouette to its frame. Crafted from metal, this bookcase delivers the pared-down, open look of an etagere with its slim frame. Central supports alternate between the front and the back of the shelves, creating a staggered, asymmetric look. And with five shelving tiers, there's plenty of room for books and decor. This slim bookcase is available in two sizes, and both are sized to fit into spaces short on square footage.

This shelf is stunning! From the description, I did not expect it to be so sleek and mid-century modern, but it completely fits the space and is exactly what I was looking for to show my detailed wall behind it. Anonymous. New Orleans, LA. Mon May 04 2026

Steeped in urban industrial vibes, this etagere bookcase features a sleek mixed-material look and an airy, open silhouette we love. The frame is made from steel and is finished in a dark brushed pewter that contrasts the 4 shelves. Each shelf is constructed from reclaimed boat wood collected from old Chinese fishing vessels, so you have a story to tell when your guests give you compliments. We especially love the wood's natural finish, which shows off the wood grain color variation and subtle hints of color from years of use.

Enhance your living area with this classic five-shelf etagere. The antique leaf-finished iron and clear mirrored shelves create an elegant backdrop for your favorite decorative accents.

I love these shelves. They look gorgeous in my room. They’re heavy duty, and can hold anything. I ordered a set and the other one arrived scratched and one leg slightly bent. its beautiful and sturdy, I really needed a bigger book shelf to hold all the books I had around the house and this fit the bill perfectly. I love the arch Sao much it really elevates our whole living room. It required book ends though but I didn't mind having to find some I liked, it adds a level of elegance to the shelves too. Putting this thing together is super easy I did it by myself took about an hour which the instructions noted. It might have taken longer to organize all my books on the shelves.. Bre . Utah. Sak (Soñando a Kuramata) is based on the iconic "64 bookshelves" bookcase by Japanese designer, Shiro Kuramata, who divided the area of a rectangle into 64 compartments that increase in size from corner to corner. This design takes Kuramata´s idea and pushes it into the third dimension, not only does the area of the shelves increase from one corner to another, but the depth does as well. This iconic bookcase is assembled without the use of glue or hardware.

Crafted of organic Acacia Veneers and metal tubing in a casual distressed natural wood finish with a metal frame.

Looks Beautiful! Very solid construction, weights a ton. Wood color is spot-on to the Photos, after a quick Polish (Pledge). Only thing I'd say that differed from wayfair photo is the Metal color is lighter than I thought it would be. Very much a lighter/mid gray than a dark/black gray.. Schulz. Potomac Falls, VA.
