The Moen digital shower controller is a nice upgrade. We needed a controller on the opposite side of the shower from the shower head, so the water could be turned on without entering the shower. This valve utilizes a pressure balance mixing cartridge to ensure constant water temperature in response to changes in water pressure (e.g. flushing a toilet). The Two Way Diverter and Trim Kit also comes with a 2-way diverter connection making it easy to select between the shower head and hand shower. The valve also comes equipped with an adjustable Hot Limit Safety Stop to reduce risk of scalding, a Plaster Guard to be used as a guide during installation, and a tub spout optional connection.
