He decided our bedroom window is where he wanted it and proceeded to install. It had a gap on the top that he somehow fixed. I think some cuts were involved. Please be advised that it may need some alterations to fit in your space as well. As far as quality goes, this is an all wooden feeder. It is beautifully made-nice quality.
