The Moen digital shower controller is a nice upgrade. We needed a controller on the opposite side of the shower from the shower head, so the water could be turned on without entering the shower. Faucet is gorgeous! Its handle provides a nice contrast and all together the faucet complements my dynamic countertop. This faucet was a replacement for an older one that had lost water pressure. Issue now resolved and even better with "Power Boost " feature. Love the motion control, very responsive. Also works with Alexa. I wasn't sure that it would work given the negative reviews regarding voice activation with Alexa app but it has been working well so far. Installation was easy. I wish the faucet's swivel wasn't restricted to 100 degrees rotation. The kitchen sink is a standard double bowl and the faucet's reach positions perfectly over the smaller bowl's drain but not so over the large bowl, however I was able to rotate the base a bit to correct but it makes the faucet appear slight off center. Good thing I don't have OCD. The secure docking and retraction of the pull down hose works ok but maybe the hose could've been a little longer or the weight heavier for a more brisk retraction and docking. We needed to replace a leaking faucet in our bar area and wanted something dramatic to fit the space. This faucet is perfect! We ordered the black stainless version for something a little different. The finish is beautiful and the faucet truly looks like a work of art. Plumber installation went smoothly, though expensive. Our faucet did arrive with an “open box” although it was not described in that condition. We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings.
