This product is a replacement for the 6kw unit that i had for 10 years. I actually don't have a use for the lights and speakers as my shower is already done. Not very happy with the programmability of the unit. You can only run the unit in 30 min increments. So if it takes 15 minutes to get up to temp you have to run it for another 30 + 15 remaining from the preheat. Maybe I'll find a way to not have to add 30 min. DTV+ actually works great, make sure your installer(plumber and electrician read the installation requirements before install. My outlet is a dedicated circuit and running our system with the 6 valve mod., water pressure is set @60psi running an overhead rain shower, 2 separate his/hers wall mounted shower, his/hers separate body sprayers and 1 hand held. The mount has been a great addition to our patio. The only minor issue is that the remote isn’t very sensitive when stopping the motion—when you press “OK,” there’s about a 2-second delay before it responds. Other than that, it works exactly as expected. We especially love being able to raise the TV out of sight when we’re not using it, which lets us enjoy the unobstructed view of our lake. UL & cUL listed electronic transformer is the perfect solution for wiring multiple low voltage fixtures. WAC transformers are intrinsically safer transformers because they are compartmentalized to allow no greater than 5 amps of current to be drawn on each compartment. Secondary wiring for transformers does not require conduit sheathed cable or clamp wiring techniques. This transformer has a low minimum load requirement of 1W to allow the use of LED products. Maybe dimmed using an electronic low voltage dimmer.
