I have been searching for a fully assembled murphy cabinet bed for a long time, and after months of consideration, I decided to splurge and purchase this model! I wanted something that would be easy to open and close on a daily basis, that you’d be able to leave the sheets / comforter on when closed (this eliminated tons of other options because most Murphy cabinets have 3-section mattresses, meaning the sheets need to be taken off every time.) I just received this product today, and Wayfair delivered the insanely heavy box right into the room for me for free!! Mattress is very firm so you may want to get a thin mattress topper for it. Edit: (1 week update) The bed and mattress emitted very strong odors that gave me headaches and a sore throat symptoms for days. It says it is CA Phase 2 compliant for formaldehyde, so just be careful and make sure to let the product air out (off gas) in the garage for a few days before sleeping on it. I notmally never buy anything without thoroughly reading reviews but this was a basic black bed frame so i figured it wasn’t a big deal. First we assembled the frame and there was a large gap. We realized we must have received queen side rails instead of full size. I contacted Wayfair and they immediately sent new side rails. As you can see from the photos the new side rails although they say they are for full size they are still too long. This would leave a significant gap between mattress and frame which makes no sense. I went back and looked at the measurements for each size frame from this brand and they make no sense. Wayfair is taking everything back. It’s unfortunate bc otherwise i do really like the frame but the sizing is off. This is no fault of Wayfair. They’ve corrected the issue. It’s a manufacturer issue with product.. Jennifer. The bed is beautiful and really high quality but it is gigantic in our room. If we had a bigger room, it would be perfect. (Our room is about 11’6” x 13’0”). Love the color, the quality. We bought a low profile box spring. I would not recommend getting a traditional box spring if you have a tall mattress!
