Installed two of these in the laundry room. To avoid doing electrical work we ran the cord into the cabinet then used an in wall hidden cord kit that came out next the outlet behind the washer. These lights are great. I was able to install them myself and I am not an electrician (although a very capable DIYer). The box sits perfectly inside the ceiling and the switch to adjust the light temperature is on the side facing the hole so you don't have to keep pulling it out to adjust. The lights are wafer thin and the clips are easy enough to manage. these lights were exactly what i was looking for. they are small, low profile and provide a LOT of light. i was wary about getting puck lights b/c i wasn't sure if they would give a spotlight effect on the counters or not. they give off a nice even diffused light. We got the 2700k and it's a beautiful warm light. note, you MUST buy a power supply for this if you don't have one. Call Wayfair or Kichner support, they will be very helpful. We got the one from kichner it was a dimmer with the transformer built in and when this thing is dimmed all the way down, it's still pretty bright. meaning when i turn them up they light up my counters perfectly. my one worry is i don't know how long they will last and if i should keep a spare around. i hope they last as long as led lights are supposed to. but 1 week in, i'm thrilled.. these lights were exactly what i was looking for. they are small, low profile and provide a LOT of light. i was wary about getting puck lights b/c i wasn't sure if they would give a spotlight effect on the counters or not. they give off a nice even diffused light. We got the 2700k and it's a beautiful warm light. note, you MUST buy a power supply for this if you don't have one. Call Wayfair or Kichner support, they will be very helpful. We got the one from kichner it was a dimmer with the transformer built in and when this thing is dimmed all the way down, it's still pretty bright. meaning when i turn them up they light up my counters perfectly. my one worry is i don't know how long they will last and if i should keep a spare around. i hope they last as long as led lights are supposed to. but 1 week in, i'm thrilled..
