[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This Lotus Multi-Function Cooker and Dutch oven is a beast of a kitchen tool. It single handily was my sous-chef for prepping and making Thanksgiving dinner, along with many other meals. Its multiple settings include slow cook like a standard crock pot, sauté/sear which I found myself using mostly, rice cooker, sous vide, meal timer/manual function which is also helpful. I’ve made couscous, rice and multiple chicken dinners, seared veggies, made stock and kept my mashed potatoes warm while I finished Thanksgiving dinner. This machine has a lot of power and functionality while looking quite professional and high end. My only complaint is the size/weight of it, with all that power and functions come parts to hoist and overall it’s a bit large for simply keeping out on my counter so I keep it tucked away. Without having proper space for this machine I can see it being hard to keep around, luckily I have the room. I think it is really cool that this is an option. This was my first attempt at making dough so I think the texture may have been a bit overly thick for this processor. This item should work as you would hope, if you are someone who is used to making pasta. Placing it in the top portion of my mixer took some adjusting. It would be great if there was an actual hole for the screw to go into. It also is kind of difficult to clean, especially if you are in a rush to tidy up your kitchen.
