My goal is was not to take up too much counter space. Counter depth is 21” in the photo for size reference. You can put a coffee pot in it or a couple of mugs. This burner is very sturdy and feels very well made. I am excited to try it out although I’m somewhat disappointed that it didn’t come with any stand.
