Great knife set! Really happy with the purchase. We are trying very hard not to put them in the dishwasher but occasionally one gets by us and our kids do it, however the knives have held up! It’s taken me 30 years to replace our stainless steel service of forks, knives spoons, what can I say It worked well, enjoyed it but, once while fine dining with friends, I noticed the quality of her service set, it was weighted, an enormous difference than what we had at home. These visually match our original Melon Bud pieces from 20 years ago with two differences. The first and more important difference is that original sets were 188, and these are 1810. The second and barely discernible difference is while the length of the knife is the same, it has a very slightly different curvature. No one would ever be able to notice these differences on your table (it’s tough to see even with two knives in hand looking for the difference) and the pieces still feel nice in hand, which was the original appeal.
