This wafer-thin LED recessed kit with a remote driver combines high-quality light output and efficiency while eliminating the need for a large housing. This innovative design can be installed easily as a remodel or new construction with an optional frame-in kit sold separately for pre-wiring. This wafer-thin LED is available in a downlight version for general ambient lighting and an adjustable version with a gimbal that pivots 360 degrees on a hinge, perfect for slope ceilings, general lighting, accenting lighting, and wall washing. The integrated high-output and energy-efficient LED module maintains at least 70% light output for 50,000 hours. This wafer-thin LED is ideal for shallow ceiling applications with as little as 3-inch plenum clearance.

These look better than the average thin wafer lights we install. I thought when I ordered them they would change colors, but my electrician said they don't. I like that you can flip the inner circle up and direct the light where you want it. They look substantial without taking a lot of space in the ceiling to install. I would definitely buy them again.. This class 2, UL & cUL listed enclosed electronic transformer is the perfect solution for wiring multiple low voltage fixtures. Class 2 transformers are intrinsically safer transformers because they are compartmentalized to allow no greater than 5 amps of current to be drawn on each compartment. Enclosure cover is easy to remove. The transformer has knockouts on three sides with clips for line voltage wiring. Secondary wiring for class 2 transformers does not require conduit sheathed cable or clamp wiring techniques. This transformer has a low minimum load requirement of 1W to allow the use of LED products. Maybe dimmed using an electronic low voltage dimmer.
