This has been a great addition to our cats’ furniture collection! The smalleryounger cat loves to sleep on the flower on top, which is made of something like memory foam, but a bit denser. I imagine it is somewhat self-heating and also helps to hold onto the heat from the window. My largest cat loves the middle level basket. She will curl up in it for hours and has since I took it out of the box. Her sister is terrified of the entire thing and avoids even being near it. I have no idea why. I picked it because it had 3 levels, and they are always together, but it has not appealed to her yet. This is excellent, nice looking and very solid. As other reviews have noted, it does require a power drill to secure the basket rims. My cats (8-12 lbs) love it and I was happy I didn't have to drill into my walls or ceiling. It was relatively easy to put together with well marked parts and photo instructions. It has a very wide square base so I’m not longer worried about it tipping however, when my cat gets to the very top basket and is moving around it appears to shake quite a bit - enough to make me a little nervous. All the parts are sturdy and after 2 months of having it, I can confirm that it hasn’t tipped at all. I love this cat tree. My 6 cats love this! I wanted a cat tree that could be as tall as the ceiling. The only reason I took a star off is because bracing it to the ceiling with pressure is a challenge. I wish the pieces that brace against the ceiling were not made of a soft plush material. I keep tightening it and I have found something abrasive to place between the top piece and the ceiling to give it more grip.
