These Hevea butcher block countertops were just what I wanted for my new office. They were well packaged and arrived without damage. A few coats of matte poly were easy to apply. Nice smooth edges too so no additional sanding needed. They were less than half the cost of what I could get through my local big box DIY store. I was specifically looking for a 24” x 24” square table for my small apartment, and this worked perfectly for creating a small dining area. The top feels solid, and I paired it with a table base from another seller since this is just the tabletop. The finish wasn’t quite what I expected, but it’s still nice overall. Also worth noting that only one side is finished—the bottom is unfinished. Mine looks similar to the darker wood shown in the first two photos. Nice solid bench. The wood is heavy and very nice quality (looks and feel). 4 bolts and washers and the bench was assembled in about 5minutes. Overall, it’s a 5star bench, but I will nitpick one part. For me, the little plastic feet on the bottom of the metal legs are not the best.
