Great quality, easy to install... my only complaint is that the flex hose they provided cannot be attached directly to the vent because there is a backflowdraft damper that is not able to open and close with the flex hose compressed... you need to definitely use at least 6 piece of straight metal ductwork first, then attach the flex hose.... but the product is very well made otherwise!. Wayfair customer service went above and beyond to replace the original “lost” shipment when the first transportation company claimed the hood was delivered and signed for. The documentation proved that to be impossible based on the date it left the warehouse. We absolutely love our new 48" range hood! It shipped and delivered so quickly. It was packaged extremely well. Once we opened it and removed from the packaging, we were pleasantly surprised because of the copper edges. We did not realize the hood had this. We were unable to tell looking at the pictures on Wayfair. This hood matches our oil rubbed bronze fixtures throughout kitchen so nicely. We repurposed very old slate roofing tiles for our wall behind our 1950's stove. When we installed the hood, we used 5 inch iron pipes to have the hood sit out from the wall. This purchase was a bad choice. For one, it DOES NOT come with the chimney piece! Wayfair referred me to the manufacture to purchase that piece for an additional $250 but it wasn't available to ship until January 2019! So, I had to have one custom made so my contractor could finish my kitchen remodel. Also, the blue lights on the front are SO bright, they are annoying. Wish I could turn them off.
