Really beautiful, but prepare yourself honestly for some work. This chandelier is definitely a statement piece, but took over two hours for assembly. Each one of the ginkgo flowers needs to be attached and screwed on with a small set screw. It takes a lot of patience, but if you have it, it’s worth it. The end result is really spectacular. The company was great to work with as well. Some of the flowers came broken and they sent replacements right away. very easy assembly about 1 hour to install. We did not need to use additional down rods. The chandelier arrived with 1 down rod already installed so unit arrived measuring 3 feet high. While this is obviously a very attractive light fixture, there is a lack of quality control. The chain links show white in different places on them where theyre not painted gold completely. The sockets are very cheap plastic and feel flimsy. One of the sockets was difficult to screw the bulb into because it was so crooked. The instructions dont even tell you how to install it, but thankfully Ive installed many chandeliers. Replaced a teeny light fixture with this and it’s great - it’s a large statement piece but it’s light and open enough that it doesn’t overwhelm the space. The light is gorgeous. Took a star off for terrible directions- very hard to follow and the wires are not labeled which made the installation much harder than it needed to be. The mounting screws are terrible. It also did not mention this light needs a B14 bulb which is not available at big box stores and needed to be ordered.
