Unfortunately, these lights don’t work in my house. They are made for new construction and in order to make them work in an older house. You have to retrofit the light fixture, which would cost more money than it’s worth. They are not made to go right into an existing light fixture. You will need to order the springs from the company for them to work unless you have newer construction they won’t work. That being said, they seem like good quality. When we saw this LED fixture it seemed too good to be true. It is the right size to cover the the hole from our old fixtures, is low profile and sleek looking and energy efficient. We replaced the old fixture in my kitchen and I have been just living this new light. The LED is brighter but not as harsh as the old fluorescent lights. This light can serve as a sole light source for a small bathroom, it's the equivalent of 4-light vanity light. Change color temperature among 3 CCT by pushing the button on backplate and your selection is kept. It can be used with the same dimmer switch for traditional incandescent light bulbs. The light direction is also adjustable by repositioning the light bar angle. It is easy for installation, the installation complies with US electric code.
