This air conditioner works pretty well in a small room. My husband cut a hole in the wall to vent it outside. Ensure you read the manual prior to purchasing. Unfortunately, due to design, the max window depth is 11", we initially tried to install on a 12" depth, and that did not work, as the clamps got in the way...
