I had an exactly 36 opening, and the door was a half inch too big because they did not include the dimension of the hinges. Have to retile the doorframe, to remount. This glass was perfect for my exact space! I did a self install and I'll say that you have to be extra careful with the corners, glass can still break just touching a hard surface in the corners so always have it resting on stacked cardboard before final placements..
