Wanted to upgrade our over the stove microwave and found this LG one. I love the slide out vent option. It really does get rid of steam and oil smoke from the front burners. It will help when we change to a gas range and oven. Other reviews stated issues with the side out function. I see no issues with the durability. Just don’t lean on it or put things on it. Power is amazing and food cooks quickly and evenly. Some others disliked that the screen goes blank until you open the door. I don’t notice this as an issue. You have to open the door to put your food in first. The only time it requires opening is to use the timer function. We are very impressed with the look, features, quality and price. It’s important to get the right air conditioner for the job! The LG LW6024R is ideal for cooling medium rooms up to 250 sq. ft. This unit has 3 cooling and fan speeds and a 24 hour timer to create a cooling schedule. 2-way air deflection lets the flow of air be directed where it's needed most whether cooling, dehumidifying or just circulating air.
