Do not try to clean the charcoal filter in the recirculation kit as it can not be cleaned, Please change the charcoal filter every 4-6 months (depending on hood usage)

I should have consulted my contractor prior to buying this, because another piece is needed to work with this three-way diverter valve. It would’ve been helpful to have notes on the description, indicating another piece was needed.
