Love this pressure cooker! I've been using an aluminum PC for years, but recently changed to an induction cooktopand needed an induction compatible PC. It's easy to close the lid securely, to tell when pressure has been achieved, and to quick release the pressure. Yes, it's expensive, but I'll have it the rest of my life and pass it on when I die. The built-in pop-up pressure indicator allows you to check if there’s pressure inside the cooker and the over-pressure plug is a simple steam release mechanism to let off steam if it builds up excessively.
