Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Now that Im redoing the kitchen, I especially looked for their options. Im glad I did, because it looks great. Its a tad shorter than other similar options, which is a good thing for my application. I also like that you can choose to use two slots or just one, and adjust the settings depending on whether you want lighter or darker toast. Cleaning is easy since it has two crumb trays on the sides. The toaster feels sturdy and well made. It is a bit heavy, but I actually like that because it doesn’t feel cheap.
