We really like this waterproof mattress pad. We have a dog who sometimes has small accidents during the night. The pad fits our deep mattress easily and the fabric prevents any moisture from seeping through. One tip, we bought this as a replacement for the exact pad. Do not wash in a washer with an agitator. just received and set up this foam mattress pad and topper, and my first impression is very positive. It appears to be about 4 inches thick total, with approximately 2 inches of memory foam and a 2-inch plush pillow top, which gives my mattress a much more luxurious feel. The topper expanded nicely after unpacking and fit my mattress well. It instantly made my bed feel softer and more supportive without feeling like I’m sinking too deeply. It definitely gives the bed more of a hotel-style comfort. I haven’t slept on it long enough to comment on long-term comfort or durability, and I’m especially interested to see whether it sleeps cool or retains heat. I’ll need several nights to really evaluate that, but based on the initial setup and how comfortable it feels, I’m very happy with my purchase. Once the plastic is punctured the topper expands fairly rapidly. In about an hour it was full size. The topper is a bit larger than my queen mattress, but not overly so. There are straps in each corner to keep it from sliding around. They easily slipped out but I decided to run them beneath the bed frame and now they stay in place. The topper has added a welcome firmness to my bed. I can honestly say Ive been more comfortable and have slept better. Overall it ls a good addition if your bed is a little worn or soft.. Eric. This is a very nice foam mattress topper. It is very firm and was super easy to open. It has the straps on the corners which is awesome because this will go in my RV and will stay put during travel.
