But the manufacturer could do its end users a real favor by making very clear that one unmarked screw should NOT be removed. All it would take would be a little sticky note on the piece. Instead the manufacturer chooses to sell you a replacement part ($34). This patio lock is made well. I wish I could install it, but my new apartment complex will not allow me to drill into the frame. I will be giving this to my sister to use on her patio door. I will say it is very well made. The locking peg is sturdy and long, so it will secure the door when I stalled.
