We’ve had a less than average stove for quite some time. It was getting the job done but we didn’t really know what we were missing. This thing is amazing! If I had to improve anything, it would be two things, I would appreciate dials that were easier to read. The writing on them is small and not hard to see in low light. The other thing is the indicator bell when the oven reaches temperature is faint and it's not as obvious to read when the temperature is reached. But otherwise I love everything about it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having cooked on this new cooktop for 6 weeks, I can happily report that I am enjoying it more than I did my Dacor (on which I experienced a scary igniter failure). Some of expressed concern about the arrangement of the burners and their BTU levels, but that is magic in my view. There is so much customization available that it takes a bit of time to readjust what to cook where -- but that's part of the fun in my opinion. The "stops" that exist between levels of flame, as well as the numbers assigned to each, make it easy to remember what number flame to use next time for that purpose. The only worry I have is scratches because the installer caused one near that simmer burner while setting the cap on and of course now that is there forever, sadly. I had to wait for this model to return to inventory, but the wait was worth it. Highly recommend this Bosch Benchmark model for its beauty, sure, but also for its performance and ease of use!. We've had this for about a year now and I have no complaints. If I could do it again, I would just get the basic version without the ledge for the accessories. We almost never use these accessories and the ledge is just something else to be cleaned. It's awkward to use the cutting board because the sink is undermounted to 2cm stone. The glass overhanging the counter is a great feature add too. Downsides: it was very frustrating to install this extremely heavy appliance just to set it up and see that they offered little spacers for the tiny gaps in the back--I didn't get to use them because I would've had to pull the range out again completely. I sticker saying "stop! Before install install spacers" would've been nice! Having a baking drawer like kitchenaid offers would be awesome instead of just a warming drawer on the bottom. And lastly. Although this one sticks out 2 1/4 inches aound the door, the way the knob portion angles, it's flush with the countertop at the top. I especially like the angle for access to the knobs. Although some have noted, their space between the back wall, I have none and there should be none if install installed properly. Also, others have noted the cooling process sends warm air out the front vent, I knew it going in and it is not bothering me. The bottom Storage door is a bit light weight and small, but I'm glad to have it, as some do not and it's fitting a fair amount of stacked cookie sheets and broiler pans.
