This cutting board is different than others I’ve had. It has a different surface on each side and is antibacterial. So far, no scratches from me cutting up many items. The photo for what was ordered shows a setting of 2 forks, 2 spoons, and a knife. A 5 piece setting for $315.00 which fits since a single piece can be purchased elsewhere for about $60.00. So we ordered 2 sets for $630.00. What we found out is that it was not for a full setting but just one teaspoon. $630.00 for 2 silver teaspoons. Absolutely ridiculous! We haven't installed this yet but we did inspect the boxes and everything looks wonderful!! The glass is super thick and has a beautiful frosted look. This cutting board is exactly what I needed with the titanium on the other side so I can cut my meat and chicken and fish and it doesn’t stain the cutting board. You can see some of the cuts from the knife, but it’s not too bad. I don’t recommend putting the cutting board too close to the stove or putting anything on top of it when it comes out of the stove, cause it can melt the plastic around it. I also suggest when you’re done using the wood side, you wash it with light soapy water dry it and put a little bit of olive oil that will keep it looking brand new. This is a beautiful item..
