I used 2x6x12 also across the rear door to make it far less likely for a breakin the front is visible to me. I added two tire racks on the back wall for my winter-summer tires. I also added LED lighting inside and a security camera. Snow just rolls off.......not even a slight concern. I just put this up, and it has the most detailed instructions I've ever seen! All of the parts were there, everything numbered, everything fit together real well, I also like how you can take the ends of the shelter off and back on, Ididn't put them on from the beginning but I don't think it's going to be a big deal you just got to go up under the collar that comes around the end to keep weather out when you do have the ends on there. I'm not using the anchoring ropes into the ground, taking one to a tree and the other two into the house. I'll just have to wait and see if it can stand up to South Florida weather.
