I’ve had these types of stick-on LED lights before but this is the longest string of LED lights I’ve tried before. I was able to line the entire kitchen, which I was surprised by. When I decided to wall-mount a 55 inch TV, I wanted as clean an installation as possible: no tethered boxes on a table below. That meant attaching a Fire Stick 4K, a Harmony Hub and an old TiVO Mini to the rear of the TV. The TiVO and Fire Stick were easy, but the Harmony Hub is made to sit on a horizontal surface, period. As I envisioned fabricating something out of metal strapping, I spotted the Mount-IT! MI-355 online. Perfect! And it was. Looks fine, has buttons on top if the unit (which makes you able to work the unit without the need of a remote). Has a noisy fan though. What is most bothering is that they claim the bulb has 22,000 lumens (not specified if ANSI or ISO), and when checked on the web, this model has only somewhere between 300-500. Class 2 transformers are intrinsically safer transformers because they are compartmentalized to allow no greater than 5 amps of current to be drawn on each compartment. Enclosure cover is easy to remove. The transformer has knockouts on three sides with clips for line voltage wiring. Secondary wiring for class 2 transformers does not require conduit sheathed cable or clamp wiring techniques. This transformer has a low minimum load requirement of 1W to allow the use of LED products. Maybe dimmed using an electronic low voltage dimmer.
