My Wife really likes this addition to her compost regimen. This container is very handy, instead of having to deal with the hassle of plastic bags to put vegetable peelings, coffee grounds and other composting matter into, then dealing with the subsequent leaks and mess...we have this very handy composting container. This is a starter kit that includes both the RSI-Maze Two stage 65 gallon Compost Tumbler, including the heavy duty 3 gear Easy turn handle kit. The Composter is Constructed from a zinc coated metal frame to prevent rust and a body constructed from high impact UV protected plastic. With the optional compost cart that fits right underneath the composter makes moving your newly made compost simple, clean, and easy. Very pleased with this composter. It took about 1hr to put together. The instructions were clear and concise. The screws and such were clearly labeled and in separate bags. The cranking and locking mechanism seem to work well. After I assembled it I entirely filled one side and was able to crank and lock without issue. I bought this as an addition to my tote worm bin as the worms needed to be divided. I have a tote style for a year and wanted to try a tower. The lid does not snap on like the tote top. Whether this is going to be a problem, I don’t know. My tote has 3 coverings: plastic wrap, then paper grocery bag, then cloth held on with 2 types of bands. Just having a lid sitting on bin is the opposite of my other bin. Instructions were unclear and I emailed customer service and never heard back. No idea what or how to use the spigot.
