This is a fantastic spatula! The teal color is fantastic and the one piece construction is exactly what we were looking for- no more icky gunk build up where to spatula meets the handle. We purchased Ela's Silicone Spatula and Ela's Straight Silicone Spatula at the same time and I recommend you do the same. It's really well designed, with a comfortable big handle, to easily scoop out hard-frozen ice cream. My only concern was the description on the website indicated that it was made of stainless steel and was not dishwasher safe. But my concern was put to rest when I read the card that was attached to the scoop, which indicated that it was actually made of a chrome plated alloy and WAS dishwasher safe.. James.
