We bought this addition for our ferrets house HOPING it was the right one to fit. It fit like a glove. Our ONLY complaint is that the front panel had the brackets (to attach it to our existing cage) welded on the top, so we had to install it upside down to make it work. The door swings on the left, not the right, which is backwards, but it works. We just turned the latching hardware around to make it lock "right". Thankfully we are handy enough to figure that out.. Excellent cage for sugar gliders because it’s safe (after securing the sliding doors) and spacious…but will likely need to be replaced every 12-18 months due to extensive rusting. Took a star off for that. Most cages will eventually rust with sugar gliders in them, but this one rusts quickly. Doors are large enough to fit the Free Runner and Raptor wheels in, but a bit too small to comfortably clean the cage interior. This thing is a beast. The company that makes it usually sells it for over $1000. This is the place to buy. The instructions weren't crystal clear but we got the hang of it. There were a couple of random springs with no instructions as to what to do with them. AI came in handy. There was one piece of metal that was slightly bent and prevented the top grate from sliding in but it was easily remedied with a mallet. It is precisely 30dx40w without the skirt. I'm not impressed with the wooden dowels and am ordering other types of perches to install. For this price those tiny little side issues were totally worth it.
