I bought this item from Best Plumbing in Somers, NY. It is extremely loud...anyone in the adjacent rooms will know that you're unrolling toilet paper. Perhaps it has something to do with the side that has the arm is not fitting flushly against the wall. I had to improvise and cut down a cabinet door bumper to size, and place it where the arm and other side of the holder meet. I bought this and the shower fixture from the same line as part of our master bath remodel. It’s definitely the “bold look of Kohler.” Love it. The install went pretty easily. Two hiccups; one mine and one Kohler’s. Mine: my sink was done with a 1 1/2” trap, instead of the standard 1 1/4” for bathroom sinks, so I had to get a couple of extra parts. Also, since this wasn’t the first time this old house has been remodeled, the integrated cold water line didn’t reach the valve. Had to scab on an additional supply line. Kohler’s: the lift rod for the stopper didn’t fit between my faucet and backsplash. Frankly, I doubt it would have fit even if I had no backsplash at all. It was almost as though the faucet was intended to be mounted to one side, instead of standard behind the sink. It took some “modification” to make it fit. Yes, I bent it almost straight. No worries. Recently had our bathroom remodeled and had the Parallel faucets installed. Was so surprised when the water comes out as a spray which I really, really dislike. Every other bathroom faucet that I have whether Kohler or other top brands the water comes out in a wonderful stream. I have been told there is no choice to change the aerator. Really? Terrible..
