For some reason I thought this would be more of a pop-up style tent. It was hard to put together at first because we never did it. It will be way easier next time since we know what we are doing now. The first part you put together is the canopy part. To make things easier for people just know the little carrots on the bars point down and out. It was on directions but the little picture was hard to see with my eyes. Once we got that part it was easier. With the steaks and everything down it will be stable and not fly away. It single handily was my sous-chef for prepping and making Thanksgiving dinner, along with many other meals. Its multiple settings include slow cook like a standard crock pot, sauté/sear which I found myself using mostly, rice cooker, sous vide, meal timer/manual function which is also helpful. I’ve made couscous, rice and multiple chicken dinners, seared veggies, made stock and kept my mashed potatoes warm while I finished Thanksgiving dinner. This machine has a lot of power and functionality while looking quite professional and high end. My only complaint is the size/weight of it, with all that power and functions come parts to hoist and overall it’s a bit large for simply keeping out on my counter so I keep it tucked away. Without having proper space for this machine I can see it being hard to keep around, luckily I have the room.
