The Moen digital shower controller is a nice upgrade. We needed a controller on the opposite side of the shower from the shower head, so the water could be turned on without entering the shower. The good: this came incredibly well packaged. Nothing was damaged and all of the pieces were in excellent condition. The pieces were well labeled and, while the assembly took quite some time, the instructions were simple and fairly clear. One issue with assembly was that there were pilot holes drilled for some screws but not all. Since this is made from fake wood, there was a fear of splintering. It also led to having to measure and mark where to screw so that the doors would hang evenly. The maybe I should have realized but didn’t until too late: you HAVE to mount your tv. The top piece of this stand will not support the weight of a tv and will instantly sag. The picture of a tv on the stand in my review is without the top and not extended because I’m now waiting on a wall mount. Additionally, maybe I’m naive to how extendable tv stands work, but for this stand you assemble four separate pieces that do not nest together in any way. This means if you bump into it, it will knock askew without any pressure really. I do not have kids or a pet, but this would be completely unsustainable in a home with either. Anything you style on this stand is at risk of being knocked off pretty easily. The not so good: there are no holes in the back of this stand. If you want to hide any consols or anything wired inside of the stand, you’d need to drill your own holes. TLDR: I paid $200 for this stand when it was quite “discounted” and had no reviews. I will keep it but would not go back in time and buy it again. The overall quality is good, but there are too many things that aren’t quite right, though the cost might make that justifiable.. Katie. The rough-in valve can be installed in any direction as long as the bathtub center line is aligned with one of the six screws on the plaster guard. The plaster guard has a flat top for easy leveling in installation to ensure the trim will be standing straight after installation.
