This range is terrific! We haven't tried all the features yet, but are very happy so far with what we have used. The range is attractive and has two quick-boil burners. Temperatures in the oven are reliable and things seem to cook faster that the did with our old stove. The control pad is easy to access and is for the most part pretty intuitive. We are experimenting with the Convection settings with successful results, but haven't tried the Air Fry yet (I have a countertop Air Frier so really don't need that function anyway). There are a couple things I would change, however. The two quick-boil burners are at the front of the cooktop. Most of the time I don't need to boil something quickly, so it has bee n a challenge to learn how to modify the heat so things don't burn. It would be better to put at least one of these in the back, and move the simmer burner to the front. The other thing is the drawer beneath the range (where a broiler would be in a traditional stove). It is quite shallow and flimsy. In fact, I would say this is the biggest weakness of this range. I purchased this item (Viking 4QT Pot) for $120 (before tax and shipping). It was on sale, and I think I got a great deal. It's exactly the right size, and the nonstick coating is fantastic. We've been GE appliance users for 30+ years and always been satisfied. Our last GE stove had a smooth ceramic cooktop which cleaned easily, never scratched, and looked as good when we moved as it did when we first bought it. Jump ahead to the present, when we bought all new stainless GE appliances for our new home...and I HATE the cooktop! Within nine months there are significant scratches and what seem to be permanent stains, despite taking all the required precautions, having the appropriate cook wear, and using the recommended/provided cleanser and cleaning procedures. I don't know how the quality of the cooktop materials could have changed so much in the course of a few years, but I'm very unhappy with the current version. An appliance designed with such a fragile work surface doesn't make sense for a functioning family kitchen. Great pan nothing ever sticks to it and you can basically wipe it clean with a paper towel however when tapping spoons on the side the coating has chipped off within the first few uses on the very top edge. And theres a piece in the base of the pan that has started to chip off the coating. After just a few uses. But is never fully peeled off yet. Very hefty and distribute the heat evenly.. Stephen.
