It took almost 2 days to inflate to full 6 inches due to corners being slanted. The mattress has been I guess compressed since manufacturing date in 2024, so about 1-2 years but it’s still puffing up nicely. I didn’t notice any odor at all. The product does take several hours to set up and you must have a compatible bed, but it apparently fits the standard softside with 4"x6" foam rails.) This is my first stick vacuum, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I would give the suction 3 stars and the features 5 stars.
