It took 1.75 hr to assemble but would have been quicker with an extra pair of hands. It says it is strong enough for an adult to sit on, but no way would I let someone do that because it just doesn’t have the strength of buildmaterial to not sag with a 160 lb person resting on it. It took a little balancing/rearranging to get the bottom + four sides all attached at once but was able to do with just one person. Comes with metal supports for the long sides & top, so its sturdy enough, but just know that the sides are more flexible than sturdy. Hydraulic hinges were a beeze to install. For the price point, its a good buy and it should last a few seasons. It seems to be waterproof-ish by default - the top lays flat on the box body but it does not have any kind of overlap or fitted close mechanism that would keep out water, other than being a flat lid on top of a rectangle..
