I replaced my 20 year old grill with this Napoleon 700 series grill. The technology on this grill has come a long way compared to my old grill. Cooks great, doesn’t flare up like my old grill. It has an insulated hood that keeps a consistent temperature. I used the rotisserie for the first time this weekend and it worked great. I couldn’t believe how quiet it was. With the back infrared burner it cooked very evenly. The lights on the grill work great for cooking at night and they look pretty cool too. Combo mode is ideal for large cuts of pork and beef. It could smoke first, then cook with hot smoke to infuse maximum smoky flavor. The included metal rack is adjustable for smoking one to three tiers of food at once. The smoker/slow cooker has a tempered glass lid with an integrated gasket seal and a patented temperature probe to continually monitor internal food temperature as the food slowly cooks or smokes. The digital controls are easy to use, and the smoking chamber is easy to load with readily available wood chips (not included).

Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off.
