The Moen digital shower controller is a nice upgrade. We needed a controller on the opposite side of the shower from the shower head, so the water could be turned on without entering the shower. It's not the fanciest but works well and was within our budget. The water pressure is better than others and I like the different selections for shower patterns. The description isn't great and could use more pics so you can see what you're getting (I was worried it didn't have everything)- it comes with everything you need to mount it to the existing shower pipe coming out of the wall: the handheld shower head, the flexible hose, and the magnetic mount.
