It doesn't take up room underneath the cabinet either. *There's a crimp piece required. The metal one didn't fit properly, and they provided a plastic one also which worked, but barely.. Beyond functionality, it also complements the kitchen and looks great on the counter! I really appreciate how customizable it is. In addition to the auto timer, it has a bold brew option that slows down the water flow to create a stronger cup of coffee. The self-cleaning feature is also a great bonus and very convenient. The only feature I wasn't a big fan of was the over-ice option. While it turns off the hot plate, by the time you fill the carafe with ice and finish brewing, the result is room temperature, diluted coffee. That said, it's not a deal breaker. Very efficient controller. Have only had it in place for about 2 months so time will tell, but it's working great so far. The only thing I wasn't clear on was that it will only work for one faucet. I am very disappointed with the lack of information on replacing the filters on the ro ispring tankless 800 gpd. there is not one video anywhere that shows a step by step video of how to.
