Installation time does range from 1 to 4 hours depending on having an electrical outlet near for connectivity. The toilet also offers a manual flush feature should you loose electrical power. The Moen digital shower controller is a nice upgrade. We needed a controller on the opposite side of the shower from the shower head, so the water could be turned on without entering the shower.
