All mantels are kiln-dried to remove moisture and preserve the integrity of the wood, making them suitable for long-term use indoors. Rustic mantels are the perfect spot to display family photos or vintage collectibles and will enhance the rustic charm of any room. The mantel shelf gives a unique weathered look. These mantels are solid wood and should be mounted according to the wall construction wherever the mantel is displayed. Longer-length mantels may be heavy and exceed 80 pounds.
