I am shocked and delighted!! I had no idea what to expect, but I made dinner in my Lekue Steam Cooker. I sliced a potatoe, added olive oil and seasoning and a splash of water. Then I precooked it for 4 minutes. Then I placed a 4 oz frozen salmon fillet on top of the potatoes. Seasoned it and put it back in the microwave for 4 minutes. I checked it at 2.5 minutes and it was already done. Salmon was cooked perfectly...moist, full of flavor and literally falling apart. The potatoes were beautifully cooked as well. The mat is a great addition to my kitchen tools. It fits nicely in my air fryer basket, keeps food from sticking, and makes cleanup much easier. I like that it’s reusable and feels sturdy, so it should last a long time compared to using parchment paper. The small ridges also help with air circulation, so food still comes out crispy.
