It is a very nice piece of equipment, with just a few comments. First, the microwave function is very quiet, a plus. However, the internal vent fan is very loud. More to the point, while air blows out the top vent, there is very little flow into the two-under vent portals, not very efficient removing smoke and odors. The control and number pad is very difficult to read in normal light. Either the text needs to stand out more, or ideally it would be better if illuminated. Beautiful knife hits well above its price point. I have been owning and using Japanese knives in professional kitchens for the better part of 3 decades and this knife performs as well or better than knives from misono, Masahiro and others and costs far less.
