Beautiful lamp, nice black metal, much bigger in person than on photos, however the base is super small. I Had to replace with a different base as I couldn’t get it installed it otherwise. The light from it does disperse (vs hit the island directly on the bottom) so when you’re sitting down the light can be directly at eye level. The perfect combination of natural and industrial materials, the Hightider wall sconce has a recycled glass shade and a wrought iron frame in a French black finish. The Abacá rope that is wrapped around the neck of the nautical sconce brings it a hint of texture.
