The back cushions can be moved they are not attached. The sofa arrived in two boxes, and was easy to put together with basic tools (Allen wrench and screwdriver). I did notice some slight dimplingwrinkling on the seat cushions right out of the box, but it’s likely from packagingshipping compression. Should relax over time. It also has a built-in USB port. It is absolutely perfect for an apartment space. Color Note I do wish Wayfair provided clearer images differentiating the Mid-Brown and Coffee colors. I ordered the Mid-Brown, which has much more of a caramel tone to it. If you want a deeper, truer brown, Id suggest going with Coffee. That said, it still looks great and doesnt bother me too much! Pillow Note The pillows do not hold their shape as much as I would like it to, it is a bit slouchy. The velcro helps hold it in place, but I have to fluff often to make it aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. Assembly Advice Get a helper I highly recommend having two people to assemble this. I absolutely love this couch! The curved, modern design is exactly what I was looking for, and it gives my living room a high-end, contemporary feel. It’s comfortable, stylish, and definitely makes a statement. My only complaint is the back height and the pillows that come with it. The back sits lower than I expected, and the included pillows are too small, which made the couch look less luxurious than it could. To achieve the elevated, elegant look I wanted, I ended up purchasing larger back pillows and replacing the ones that came with it. The difference was night and day. I just wish the manufacturer included larger, fuller pillows from the start because it would make the couch look much more expensive without customers having to spend extra money.
