I've seen these newer afwalls being used hundreds of times since being introduced in 2008, and they have been nothing but really reliable and sensory-friendly for people on the spectrum. Unfortunately, there's a vocal group of haters on the internet who do not like this generation of afwall, but pay them no mind. The bowl of this toilet is deep enough compared to the older model that felt too shallow, like I was sitting on a clogged toilet. The new model, also, avoids siphoning out unnecessarily when you flush it, unlike the previous model that can do so unexpectedly and unnerve some people. Love the carrier. It was a bit challenging to put together but I did watch the video beforehand on bird tricks and it was partially assembled already which was helpful. Just make sure the zippers are lined up and inserted properly before trying to zipper. It’s a secure backpack that can withstand the chewing of medium parrots that you may not feel secure taking them out in other packs.
