For the price these are absolutely excellent, however there were a few dings right out of the box on the legs and with them being metal bases made to look like wood, it’s hard to disguise that. We ordered three barstools. They arrived quickly and without damage. They were simple to assemble and necessary tools were included in the boxes. They look just like the pic online no variation in wood color. They are quite comfortable. The seat is pretty firm but is holding up nicely- no marks when you get up from being seated so it seems the seats wont break down easily. They swivel smoothly and are relatively lightweight, which is nice when moving them, but they hold over 300 pounds. We like the low profile back visually but it still has a nice feel while seated.
