My two kitties love their new space! We have two 9 months old kitties that we rescued when they were 3 12 weeks old. They are indoor cats but we wanted to give them a safe sanctuary when are not home. I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. This has been a great addition to our cats’ furniture collection! The smalleryounger cat loves to sleep on the flower on top, which is made of something like memory foam, but a bit denser. I imagine it is somewhat self-heating and also helps to hold onto the heat from the window. My largest cat loves the middle level basket. She will curl up in it for hours and has since I took it out of the box. Her sister is terrified of the entire thing and avoids even being near it. I have no idea why. I picked it because it had 3 levels, and they are always together, but it has not appealed to her yet. I bought this for my senior lady, who likes to be a little elevated, but doesn’t need to be on top of a tall cat tree. This is a little too high for her to jump up to on her own, so I gave her pet steps to reach it. She has laid claim to the top level and absolutely loves the furry fabric and large space (she’s a full-figured girl). Her brothers have been competing for the giant cubby at the bottom.
